WIKTOR JASIŃSKI

Bustrans brand ambassador

Wiktor Jasiński is a rider of the Stal Gorzów speedway club in Gorzów.

He started his adventure with motorbikes in 2006. It was then that he got his first motorbike. Three years later he competed for the first time, and already in 2010 he won his first Polish Cup Vice-Championship title in the mx65 class.

In 2013 he won the Polish Cup Champion title, in 2014 he defended this title and additionally won the Polish Vice Champion title and the Western Zone Champion title. It was also then that he made it to the Junior National Team in motocross for the first time.

In 2016, Wiktor suffered a very serious injury that ended with shoulder joint surgery. Unfortunately, this was the end of the season for him. In 2017, he came back with redoubled strength and won the title of Polish Cup Vice-Champion.

In 2018, Wiktor again stood on the second step of the podium in the Polish Cup, while in 2019 he won the title of Polish Vice-Champion in the mx2 Junior class. 2019 marked Wiktor's debut in speedway competition. It was during this time that he changed the sport from motorcross to speedway.

2020 saw Wiktor #299 starts in PGE Ekstraliga, as well as a Silver Polish Team Champion medal with the Stal Gorzów team and a Bronze medal together with Kamil Nowacki in the Junior Pairs Championship. 2021 started very well for Wiktor, as he got into the Polish Junior National Team in speedway. As Wiktor himself says “what will happen next, time will tell”.

In his free time he enjoys road cycling, swimming and riding his motorbike, which relaxes him a lot. It is interesting to note that Wiktor was a swimmer for six years and attended the Sports Championship School. He was very good in the butterfly style, but gave up swimming in favour of motocross.

BUSTRANS AND BUSRENT BRAND AMBASSADOR

Victor started his collaboration with Bustrans already about three years ago. However, since the beginning of 2021, the campaign 'We support on the way to the top' („Wspieramy w drodze na szczyt”) and a promotional spot in which he played himself have been in preparation.

The aim of the #wspieramywdrodzenaszczyt („We support on the way to the top”) campaign is to support young, talented athletes on their way to the top and to promote their achievements and activities to the local community. The road to realising dreams requires sacrifices as well as determination and patience. As Bustrans and Busrent, we strongly believe in such values, which makes us all the more keen to support young athletes who are trying to spread their wings and reach for what they dream of most.

SOME QUESTIONS

to Wiktor Jasiński

I am equally proud of all my achievements, the smaller ones and the larger ones. Each of these achievements has cost me a lot of work and sacrifice, and I am proud of each success.

Sport has been in my family since I was born. My grandfather was a mechanic, my uncle and dad raced go-karts. When I was born, my dad started racing motocross and from those moments, I was already infected with motorsport.

Bartek Zmarzlik is an inspiration. He pursues his goals with a cool head, step by step – those are qualities of a champion. It’s nice to watch him have fun riding, something special.

Probably, like any athlete, to become the best in my sport. To win the title of WorldChampion.

Certainly with motorbikes, but whether as a rider or someone else, time will tell.

The most enjoyable is cycling. I really enjoy pedaling my bike and admire the views while listening to music with headphones.

What I enjoy most is the competition and the elbow-to-elbow fight.

The aim is a medal with the team in the DMP. (Team Speedway Polish Championship).

I like to eat jelly beans during the competition, I feel relaxed then as I transfer the stress to chewing jelly beans.

I feel fun and the desire to win.

Eating jelly beans helps me to relax.

Preferably good health, because without health there are no results and no fun to ride and the proverbial breaking of spokes.

So “break spokes” from the entire Bustrans and Busrent crew!
